Mortgage applications in the United States fell for the second consecutive week in the week to March 12, 2021. The index that measures the volume of mortgage applications records a decline of 2.2% after -1.3 % of the previous week.


The index relating to refinancing requests fell by 4.2%, while that relating to new applications recorded an increase of 1.8%.

This was announced by the Mortgage Bankers Associations (MBA) specifying that the rates on thirty-year mortgages have risen to 3.28% from 3.26%.
